Proof of Residency

In order to comply with Little League International rules, DCLL must confirm that all players reside within our boundaries, that is, within Dallastown Area School District.  To do this, we are required to maintain copies of three forms of proof of residence for all families in our program each year.  You will need to upload copies (or photographs) of the following documents in order to complete registration.

Residence shall be established and supported by documents containing the full residence which includes parent(s) or guardian(s) name, street address, city, state and zip code information, dated or in force between February 1 of the previous year and February 1 of the current year, from one or more documents from EACH of the three Groups outlined below:

  1. Group One
  2. Driver’s License
  3. School Records
  4. Vehicle Records (registration)
  5. Employment records
  6. Insurance documents

  1. Group Two
  2. Welfare/child care records
  3. Federal records
  4. State records
  5. Local (municipal) records
  6. Support payment records
  7. Homeowner or tenant records
  8. Military records
  9. Utility bills (i.e., gas, electric, water/sewer, phone, mobile phone, heating, waste disposal)
  10. Financial (loan, credit, investments, etc.) records

Group Three
  1. Medical records
  2. Military records
  3. Internet, cable or satellite records
  4. Vehicle records
  5. Employment records

There are some exceptions to these rules.

  • Only one parent or guardian residing within DCLL boundaries is needed to establish residency. The other can live elsewhere.
  • If a player participated in DCLL last season but has since moved outside of our boundaries, they are still eligible to play in DCLL.
  • If a player resides outside of DCLL limits but attends school within the boundaries, they are eligible to play for DCLL.
