We are currently accepting registrations for the upcoming 2022 fall baseball season. Please read the division descriptions below for details on your players age division fall teams have played in the York County league, which is still true for our older three divisions, but this year our younger age groups will be part of the Little League program.
We are happy to offer the following six divisions for the fall season. The dates in parentheses indicate birthdates for the players for this season. The county uses age as of May 1st this year to determine age groups, Little League divisions use league age for next spring (preparing the players for what they’ll see in the spring). Note that younger players may elect to play up one level if desired, but no older player may play down.
We recommend that you speak with your spring coach or a member of the board if you are unsure whether your child should play up a division or not. DCLL retains the ability to return players who sign up for an upper division to their original division if deemed during evaluations that playing up is a potential safety issue for the player.
14-15 (May 1, 2006 – April 30, 2009): This division is 100% kid pitch and will participate in the York County Baseball league against other programs. [$130 for non returning players, $105 for returning players]
12-13 (May 1, 2008 – April 30, 2011): This division is 100% kid pitch and will participate in the York County Baseball league against other programs. [$130 for non returning players, $105 for returning players]
10-11 (May 1, 2010 – April 30, 2013): This division is 100% kid pitch and will participate in the York County Baseball league against other programs. [$130 for non returning players, $105 for returning players]
8-9 (May 1, 2012 – April 30, 2015): This division is 100% kid pitch and will participate in the York County Baseball league against other programs. This division is typically for players who played kid pitch in the spring or summer and younger players who are ready for kid pitch. [$130 for non returning players, $105 for returning players]
7U Coach Pitch (May 1, 2014 – April 30, 2016): This division is 100% coach pitch, meant as a bridge between tball and 100% kid pitch. This division is for players who are ready to advance from tball, played hybrid in the spring, or would like a season of coach pitch prior to moving to a full kid pitch division in spring 2023. This division will play mostly other Dallastown teams, but may play other local 7U teams based on participation of other leagues. [$70 for all players]
TBall (September 1, 2015 – August 31, 2018): This is for our youngest players who have not previously played or are not ready for full coach/kid pitch games. Our TBall program is a non-competitive division and is meant to teach fundamentals and basic concepts. This division will play mostly other Dallastown teams, but may play other local tball teams to fill out the schedule, depending on registration numbers. [$50 for all players]
Each York County division (8-9 and above) will be divided into an A team and one or more B teams, pending registration numbers. Teams for these divisions will be assigned based on evaluations, which will occur in early August. There will be no evaluations for the Little League divisions, players will be randomly assigned to teams.
(NOTE: The fee listed below for York County divisions is for players who did NOT play with DCLL this spring. For returning players, you will see a $25 discount appear at the payment page of the registration process.)
